  • Milk - 142 ml
  • Cream cheese - 225 g
  • Eggs - 7 piece
  • Fresh cream - 220 ml
  • Castor sugar - 340 g
  • Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  • A pinch of orange zest - 0 g
  • Moong dal - 50 g
  • Ghee - 20 g
  • Fresh strawberries - 100 g
Instructions
Step-1
Soak the moong dal in water for an hour.
Step-2
Once softened, grind the dal to a smooth paste.
Step-3
Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the moong dal paste until aromatic and lightly cooked.
Step-4
Set it aside to cool to room temperature.
Step-5
In another bowl, whisk together cream cheese and castor sugar until smooth.
Step-6
Add eggs one at a time, mixing continuously to maintain a creamy consistency.
Step-7
Stir in milk, fresh cream, and orange zest.
Step-8
Add vanilla essence and fold in sliced strawberries gently to avoid crushing them.
Step-9
In a cake pan, spread the sautéed moong dal evenly to form the base.

Pour the cream mixture over the moong dal base.

Place the cake pan in a double boiler and bake at 160°C for 45 minutes.
