Pineapple daiquiri recipe

Pineapple daiquiri recipe

Annually celebrated on the second Saturday of July, World Rum Day is a homage to one of the most iconic spirits of all times— a drink that has shaped cocktail menus and party nights for centuries. This year it will be celebrated on July 12.

Made from sugarcane byproducts like molasses or fresh sugarcane juice, rum has evolved into a diverse category with expressions ranging from clear whites to rich, barrel-aged darks. The versatility of the spirit has not only made it a favorite among bartenders and connoisseurs but also makes it a perfect base for classic and inventive cocktails, alike.

Whether you are someone who prefers your rum, neat, over ice, or shaken into a nice cocktail, celebrate World Rum Day just as you like it to be. However, if your choice is to stay indoors and sip on a flavourful drink, prepare this pineapple daiquiri using Camikara’s 3YO rum.

Note:
  • Double the ingredients when cooking for more people to ensure everyone gets a fluffy stack.
  • Swap out eggs for mashed bananas, yogurt, or flaxseed mix if you're vegetarian or allergic to eggs.
  • Use buttermilk instead of regular milk for extra soft and airy pancakes.
  • Let the batter rest for 5-10 minutes before cooking to get fluffier pancakes.
  • Cook on medium-low heat to avoid burning while ensuring even cooking.
  • Add vanilla extract or cinnamon for an extra touch of flavor.
  • Top with fresh fruits, nuts, or honey for a delicious and healthy twist.
