Loya at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai has unveiled five new cocktails under its signature Paanch experience. Along with being a spirited nod to North India, the cocktail program offers cocktails that are inspired by the five rivers, five senses, five elements, and five guiding tents that lie at the heart of North India.

One of the five cocktails is the rum-based Jammu juniper. With other elements including mint, spice nectar, blueberry, and sandalwood dust, the cocktail is very easy to prepare. All you need is a julep glass, the right ingredients, and the recipe that we bring to you from LOYA’s bar.

Note:
  • Double the ingredients when cooking for more people to ensure everyone gets a fluffy stack.
  • Swap out eggs for mashed bananas, yogurt, or flaxseed mix if you're vegetarian or allergic to eggs.
  • Use buttermilk instead of regular milk for extra soft and airy pancakes.
  • Let the batter rest for 5-10 minutes before cooking to get fluffier pancakes.
  • Cook on medium-low heat to avoid burning while ensuring even cooking.
  • Add vanilla extract or cinnamon for an extra touch of flavor.
  • Top with fresh fruits, nuts, or honey for a delicious and healthy twist.
