Let’s Kiss (Keep It Short And Simple)
If you thought Sahil Sambhi was encouraging you to kiss at his newest space Let’s Kiss, you are wrong. Kiss stands for Keep It Short and Simple. So, Let’s Keep It Short and Simple is what it means when I open up the acronym. Well… it’s a word play that could get many into some serious trouble. So first of all: DON’T KISS AT LET’S KISS!

Second: go carefree. Because you don’t need to worry about an incomprehensible menu that features names of ingredients you can’t make sense of. Why? Because there is no menu, friends! I am yet to visit but folks who have, have told me that all you are required to do is to let the bartender know your mood, your spirit preference, and preferred notes. And they will whip up a cocktail suiting your choices from an extensive repertoire of cocktails that they have by hearted. Whether you like your drink or not, one thing’s for sure: Let’s Kiss is introducing Delhi to omakase in its truest and most honest sense. Trust your bartender and kiss (your drinks) away.

Therefore India
Like the popular lane in Hauz Khas, there is another market that is currently making the round: Meherchand Market. And a new coffee-cum-cocktail bar has opened doors in the market. Called Therefore, not a lot many details about the bar are out and I am yet to visit but they claim to be Meherchand’s first coffee and cocktail bar (coffee for am and cocktails for pm). They want you to visit for the coffee and stay till you sip your beverage out of a coupe glass instead of a cup— basically linger for the cocktails.
Am sure like most other spaces that claim to transform from coffee to cocktails, Therefore will shift the vibe too. It’s only three days old and you must head soon before everyone in Delhi starts fantasising a coffee shop that also serves cocktails by the night. Basically, head before it becomes massy.
D’Glasshouse
D’Glasshouse at Dramique, in Vasant Kunj is an invite-only space that offers a more intimate take on Delhi nightlife. Designed to resemble a lounge-like setting, the space is meant for relaxed evenings more than a loud, high-energy night out (which talking from experience, can be very draining).

The bar’s Garden-to-Glass (like farm-to-table for food) cocktail programme brings fresh botanicals and unexpected flavours to the table. The most talked-about cocktail is The King which features tequila, mezcal, raw mango cordial and dry vermouth. Another one, The Rebel, layers rum with pineapple, falernum, absinthe and citrus. The food menu holds European and Asian dishes that pair well with cocktails and also serve as standalone reasons to return to the restaurant.

Classics such as the Espresso Martini, Aperol Spritz, Negroni and Margarita round out the list. The bar also offers rotating beer on tap, bottled beers, wines and premium spirits, alongside globally inspired comfort food and shareable bar bites.
