Along with being the national capital of India, Delhi could easily be labelled as the food capital too. Each month a new, more promising list of restaurants arirve in the city. So much so that it gets difficult to keep track. Well, we are here for just that! If you are tapping on Instagram stories and scrolling through reels, wondering why you have not been to the places that your friends are partying or dining at, then it is probably at one of these restaurants, eateries, and cafes.
Here’s a list of 5 new spots in Delhi NCR that, if missed, will have you regretting!
Firenze Gelateria
Would you dare to imagine Michelangelo’s David holding an ice cream? Well, Parth Gupta has decided to make that the monogram of his Italian gelateria in Delhi’s Defence Colony.
From serving affogato with a bell to some of the most creamy gelati in the city, and bringing a scoop of Florence to Delhi, Firenze Gelateria is the place to be.
Highlights from their gelato section that features 20 creamy delights include the blueberry lemon cheesecake, pistachio bronte, baileyssimo, and tiramisu classico. You must also try their Amalfi limone sorbet, which is another favourite among visitors. The spot is becoming popular for doing some great Florentine sandwiches that should be on your list of things to try at Firenze Gelateria.

Zuki
Owing to a launch party that was graced by cricketer Kapil Dev, Zuki, Noida has been doing the rounds on Instagram and is a must-visit. The new pan-Asian entrant seems like a restaurant that residents of Noida can bank on, where they argue for their city’s food scene against one from Gurugram.
Founder Deepak Gupta, who was also the mind behind Fortune Cookies, Noida’s first Oriental kitchen, Zuki, is his way of giving back to a city that has greatly contributed to his journey as a restaurateur.

Expect delectable preparations by Chef Vaibhav Bhargava, inventive cocktails, and a chic vibe as you step foot into Zuki. Some highlights from the menu include their gold-foiled, cream cheese and truffle oil dimsums, the cold Japanese avocado pizza with truffle mayo, and the kaki-aged tempura roll.

Magnolia Bakery
I knew Magnolia Bakery long before Alia Bhatt made it popular in India, and she was right, nothing comes close to their Mexican sponge cake.
Well, one of the many things that Mumbai got before Delhi was the Magnolia Bakery. But guess what! It is soon to arrive in Gurugram.
If I had to recommend a few desserts that you should definitely try from the bakery, it would be their banana pudding, tres leches, the double fudge cookie, and the carrie cupcake. Be rest assured to exit with an addiction to Magnolia’s desserts.

Barbets & Pals
An addition to GK-2 M Block’s beeline of restaurants, cafes, and cocktail bars is Barbets & Pals. Founded by star mixologist Jeet Rana, his friend Chirag Pal, and Chef Amrinder Sandhu. I have been witness to the trio’s chemistry that also took Delhi by a storm with Kikli in Connaught Place. Their energy is infectious.

The 39-seater cocktail bar draws inspiration from the trio’s collective connection with the mountains and the Himalayas. Some mist-tries from the section include Mind the Gap, The Lord, and Tickle my Pickle (highball). The food roster is curated by Chef Sandhu, who is known for her iconic twists on Indian preparations. Some standouts from the food menu include bhutuwa and their gol gol bread. A dessert you should absolutely order is their warm rum bal mithai sundae.

Riches’
The brainchild of restaurateurs Mayur Singh Rathore and Sheena Singhania, Riches’ is a new European restaurant in Greater Kailash-3. Think French windows, Victorian mouldings, and stunning chandelier and Riches’ has it all.
Highlights from their menu include their spicy guacamole taquitos, smoked duck umami eclair, their pepperoni and margherita pizza, lamb chops, and house bread with parmesan rosemary butter. From their desserts, you must go for their umami carrot tres leches paired with pickled carrots and pickled red chillis.
