Culinary maestro and disruptor, Chef Gaggan Anand, who helms one of Bangkok’s most revolutionary restaurants, Gaggan (ranked 1st on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list), is all set to take Delhi by storm with a collaboration with INJA’s Chef Adwait Anantwar. Block your calendars for October 11 and 12 as the city witnesses a gastronomic partnership unlike any other it has seen before.
According to an Instagram post by restaurateur Panchali Mahendra, it all started when she bumped into Gaggan at the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Award Ceremony in Seoul. “During my chat with Gaggan, we bounced some ideas, one conversation led to another, and Adwait joined the mix,” read the post.
For anyone familiar with the skill and innovation that the two chefs bring to the table, this announcement would have you raring to experience it for yourself.

About Gaggan
Run by Gaggan Anand, his eponymous restaurant in Bangkok is known to offer a multi-sensorial experience to its diners through the 22-course menu featuring progressive Indian dishes with a fine-dining twist. Curated by Anand, the dishes at Gaggan hold influences from across the world, including French, Japanese, and Thai cuisine.
Gaggan has also topped Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list five times, the latest being in 2025 when the restaurant secured the spot after slipping to the third spot in 2024. All their dishes are unique, from their Onion Has A Brain, and Salmon Eggs Ghewar to Momo Methi Malai to Colours of Eggplant. Yoghurt Explosion and Tom Yum Kung are other hits on their menu.
About INJA
INJA is the world’s first restaurant to seamlessly and harmoniously blend Indian and Japanese cuisines that are different in their flavour profile and have unique features.
Japanese food is characterised by its delicate nature, clean and subtle flavours, with strong emphasis on technique, against the Indian cuisine that boasts diverse ingredients, resulting in a complex flavour profile. At the helm of this task was Chef Adwait Anantwar, who spent enough time researching and experimenting to finally produce dishes that present the best of the two cuisines.
He started his culinary career when he moved to the UAE in 2014 and has spent enough time working under Chef Himanshu Saini of Tresind Studio in Dubai.
