If your idea of a night out in Delhi has started to feel a little predictable, the city has got the memo. Because lately, it’s not just one or two new openings making noise. There’s an entire wave of brand-new bars, with fresh concepts (and even fresher drinks) taking over. New menus, new moods, new pincodes—blink, and there’s probably another spot you’ve somehow missed.
What we’re especially enjoying isn’t just the number of bars opening up, but how different they all feel. While some are doubling down on high-concept cocktails and tight, thoughtful menus, others are leaning into recreating the hidden-bar, speakeasy energy everyone’s seeking lately. Or if you’re just looking for a good time, there are bars offering high-energy nights with music, movement, and drinks that do their job.
The result? A city that suddenly feels a lot more alive after dark. And who doesn’t love the sound of that! So if your weekends have been looking suspiciously empty (or you’re simply ready to switch things up), consider this your cue. These are the newest bars in Delhi that are already making a case for your next night out—and probably the one after that.
Top Banana
Tucked above Ikk Panjab in GK-II, Top Banana is exactly what Delhi’s bar scene has been leaning towards lately—a space that feels high on intent but low on intimidation. The idea is simple: a bar-first neighbourhood spot where the main objective is to come for a drink, but stay for many. It has moody lighting, green-grey tones, a glowing glass-brick bar, and a vinyl-only music setup that shifts the energy as the night progresses. It’s designed to feel like an extension of a living room mid-house party with close tables, conversations spilling across seats, and bartenders within arm’s reach.

On the drinks front, standouts include Shadow Play, Top Banana’s take on a martini with pickled flavours, and Salt Before Sunset, a tequila, lychee, and salted sakura highball that’s built for these Delhi summers. There’s also Good On Paper, a spin on a New York Sour with roasted quinoa and starfruit, and Panic At Leisure, which brings together gin, pandan, and pineapple curd.
The food follows the same philosophy, with experimental yet heart-winning dishes becoming top picks. These include offerings like the Pickle Mutton Seal (a rich, rillettes-style preparation with curry-ginger butter and bread on the side), Crispy Octopus Whirl with smoked potato, Duck Pate Rocket, and Wings Got Pigs (chorizo-stuffed). So clearly, if you’re a non-vegetarian, this new bar might be somewhere close to heaven for you!

The Agave Room
If you’re looking for a bar that takes its margaritas seriously, The Agave Room, as the name suggests, is built entirely around that. As an agave-first cocktail bar, here, tequila and mezcal aren’t just part of the menu; they are the menu.

The entire experience is structured around the philosophy of five elements—Earth, Fire, Air, Water, and Teotl—which influence how the drinks are conceptualised and served. Expect tequila- and mezcal-led cocktails that fit everyone’s ideal drink type, be it citrusy, fruity, dry, smoky or spicy.
Go to orders include the Emerald Crown, a refreshing mix of coconut tequila, pandan, and creamy matcha foam; the Solomon’s Seal, featuring a tangy blend of tequila, yuzu, orange, and burning gochujang; and the Melon Flow, a fruitier take on tequila comprising watermelon, limoncello, and Blanco tequila. For those looking for something deeper, their Once Upon a Time in Oaxaca is a great pick: a smoky mezcal drink with plum liqueur and herbs. Pair your drinks with classic bar bites, and you’ve got yourself some excellent weekend plans.
If you’re a tequila and agave enthusiast, this is where you must be.

Drinks at 304
The premise of the space is simple: if you know, you know, and if you don’t, you’ll probably walk right past it. Drinks at 304 is one of those under-the-radar spots in GK-II that’s all about that hidden-bar life—yes, it’s sans loud signage and obvious entry; just a slightly elusive, word-of-mouth kind of presence makes for the experience of the space.

Conceptualised by three college friends who decided to bring their amateur dreams to life by opening a bar based entirely on their experiences as 20-something olds in university, even the name of the hidden bar pays homage to their college room number. Positioned as a vinyl-led experience, here, drinks, nostalgia, and music take centre stage, and there’s no two ways about it.
What to expect on the menu? We wish we could tell you, but it’s a hidden bar for a reason! Visit, and you might find out enough to tell us too. All we know is this: reservations are only given out by phone, and listening to music is an activity they take very seriously.
In a neighbourhood packed with buzzy, high-energy spots, Drinks at 304 works precisely because it doesn’t compete on volume. Here, visit for a good time, bits of college nostalgia, and delicious music.
Address: 3RD FLOOR, H.No.9/85, NEAR BLOCK-2, SUBHASH NAGAR, New Delhi 110027
The First Floor
Touted as the city’s first culinary cocktail bar, this isn’t a place where drinks sit on one side and food on the other. Instead, it’s designed so both speak the same language, with overlapping ingredients, techniques, and ideas. The menu draws on Asian, street, and contemporary flavours, mirroring the fluid identity of the space.

Behind the bar, the approach is precise but not intimidating. The cocktail program, led by mixologist Yumit Kumar (also known as Bob), focuses on ingredient-led drinks built with intention and depth, often developed over days to achieve the perfect balance. Here, you’ll find both easy-going drinks you can order without thinking twice, and more complex, layered combinations if you’re in the mood to try something new.
Designed with an Indochine-inspired aesthetic with textured stone, warm wood, soft lighting, and a central bar that anchors the room, the space also feels quite refreshing and inviting, perfect for late-night hangouts on your weekends.
Address: One Golden Mile, Block A, Netaji Nagar, New Delhi
Soda Shopp
At first glance, this spot leans into pure nostalgia, but flips it into a cocktail-filled, fizzy (pun-tended) experience. Here, you’ll find childhood flavours are reimagined as cocktails, fun glassware, and a vibe that’s very Hauz Khaz-like.

The concept is simple but extremely witty: take your everyday “banta soda” from your childhood and turn it into an adult version. So, instead of just nimbu soda or kala khatta, you get a menu built around soda-forward cocktails. On the menu, some of the standouts include the Kala Khatta Soda cocktail, which reworks the classic street-side flavour into a grown-up drink. Other favourites include Rule Breaker, made with popcorn and jalapeño tequila, and Not So Sweet, a tequila, litchi, and white chocolate mix. Alongside, the food features easy bar bites, including offerings like the Chicken Shumai Dimsums, Chilli Oil Burrata Pizza, and Truffle Frites.
In a city full of hyper-stylised, contemporary bars, Soda Shopp’s charm lies in how effortlessly it does nostalgia, and does it well!
