Nksha
If your idea of a perfect Valentine’s Day involves long conversations, comforting North Indian dishes with nascent flavours, and cocktails that pair perfectly with the spice of your North Indian favs, Nksha, in Churchgate, is one to bookmark.

This Valentine’s, the restaurant is leaning into its strengths with a menu dedicated to slow lunches and intimate dinners, where the food is indulgent, as Nksha does best, and the drinks are unlike most you’ve had before. The cocktail list includes starrers like the Floral Picante—an aromatic favourite with a hit of spice—alongside the bold, spirit-forward Bombay Club for those who prefer their drinks more classic than experimental. There’s also the Amber Smoke for a deeper, more roasted and warmer sip, a playful and tart Kokum Spritz, and an ever-reliable Mint Martini if you’re in the mood for something crisp and refreshing.
Ending on a familiar, comforting note, the Saffron Lassi doubles up as both a drink and a dessert of sorts—and who wouldn’t love to sip on this delicious fusion on the most romantic night of the year.
On the food front, Nksha keeps things rooted in North Indian options, with shareable plates (duh!) that pair perfectly with your cocktails of choice. As the cherry on top (quite literally), there are desserts like the Classic Saffron Phirni and the Amritsari Flat Gulab Jamun—sweet, classic, and perfect for wrapping up the evening on a sweet, romantic high.

At Harajuku Tokyo Café, Valentine’s Week isn’t boxed into just romance. Instead, it’s all about a full-blown celebration of connection in all its many, many forms! Staying true to vibe, the Japanese comfort food favourite is turning this week into a social, experience-led affair with candle-lit dining, a refreshed cocktail and dessert menu, and music-led community events that make it just as welcoming for groups and singles as it is for couples. It’s less about stiff date-night rules and more about showing up for good food, good company, and great energy.

Delhi
CHICA
CHICA Delhi by Dinesh Arora and Pooja Arora is reimagining cocktail culture with an intimate, interactive concept this Valentine’s—one that turns an act as simple as ordering a drink into a game of emotion and chance. Titled ‘Love on the Cards’, this experience invites you to surrender all sense of control to your luck (just when it comes to your drinks, of course), trust your instincts, and let fate decide what ends up in their glass!

This is what the experience basically looks like: Instead of presenting guests with a traditional menu, they are given a deck of face-down playing cards at their table. Each card represents a distinct emotional state or stage of love—whether it’s the gut-twisting feeling of a new crush or the comfort of a long-term commitment to your favourite person. With absolutely no ingredient lists or tasting notes to guide the diners, they are encouraged to pick the single card that resonates most with them. That precise emotion then determines the bespoke cocktail they’re served, transforming the act of ordering into a moment of introspection.
This experience urges an intriguing question: what does passion taste like, and how does love translate into flavour? To top it all off, there’s also a Wildcard hidden within the deck. Guests who draw it are rewarded with a surprise cocktail that’s entirely on the house!

United Coffee House
If your favourite thing to do with your loved ones includes a warm cup of freshly brewed coffee, then this one’s a must for you, set in one of Delhi’s oldest, most revered coffee houses!
And thanks to just how loved this coffee house is, it’s among those special places that rarely need “Valentine’s specials” to feel romantic. The 83-year-old institution has been home to Delhi’s sweetest love stories for decades, long before the city learned the language of themed menus and candle-lit nights. So, this Valentine’s Day, the legendary coffee house leans into what it does best: tradition, familiarity, and the comfort of quiet moments!

Their Valentine’s experience this year is anchored in dishes that have stood the test of time. Classics like the French Onion Soup, Irish Lamb Stew, and Roast Chicken Pepper Steak continue to lead the menu, alongside European-era favourites such as Chicken à la Kiev and Fillets de Sole Meunière. The drinks menu adds to this nostalgia. Signature concoctions like The Last Goodbye, a blend of hot filter coffee with cognac, cherry brandy, and Cointreau, or the Irish Chocolate Velvet, feel tailor-made for a night as special as this one! For those who prefer it simpler, the coffee house’s brews and teas are, of course, one of a kind.
For over eight decades, United Coffee House has been a meeting place for first dates, anniversary dinners, and couples returning to the same table years later, chasing memories as much as their classic, delicious coffee. The vintage interiors, polished wood, and softly lit dining room feel like a moment frozen in time, making it the perfect place for a low-key date night on V-day!

Mr Button
For those who prefer their Valentine’s cocktail-forward, Mr Button at The Residence is the event of the season for you!
At the centre of the offering is a two-cocktail Valentine’s menu, created exclusively for the occasion. First of the lot is their Lady Cupid: a light yet layered drink built on tequila and mezcal, lifted with strawberry and finished with a savoury tomato soda. So you best believe it’s incredibly fresh, nuanced, diverse in flavour, and slightly unexpected. The counterpart, The Gentleman, leans richer, combining butter-washed whiskey with crème de cacao, orange bitters, and a touch of saline, resulting in a smooth, rounded sip that’s complex, yet sure to become a favourite!

Mr Button draws inspiration from the imagined life and travels of a Savile Row tailor. The bar brings his Mayfair residence to life through well-curated interiors and cocktails that unfold like chapters. Set within such intimate, tailor-inspired interiors, the Valentine’s showcase is perfect for those who’re averse to loud spaces full of trendy music, and instead in search of a quieter, more luxurious evening out!

Bengaluru
Circa 11
For Valentine’s Weekend, Circa 11 takes a distinct route with their event, All Strings Attached, a site-specific art installation paired with a carefully curated dining experience.
The dining experience starts with a delicate amuse-bouche, setting the pace and preparing diners’ appetites for what’s to come. For the first course, diners can choose between a smoked big red tomato served with fresh cherry tomatoes, bocconcini, and consommé, or a classic tonnato layered with capers, pickled onions, and crisp potato chips. As for the second course, be prepared to devour a coffee-and-salt-baked disco pumpkin with burnt onion jus and emmental brûlée, alongside grilled tiger prawns finished with prawn butter and jeow som. Yes, each plate is better than the one before, and your taste buds are definitely not ready!

Meanwhile, the third course forms the centre of the menu. A restrained bucatini with corn, truffle sauce, herbs, and fresh peas offers quiet comfort, while braised lamb agnolotti with chicken jus and peas adds richness to the meal. For dessert, guests can choose between a chocolate pavé with a mascarpone-stuffed strawberry and soupe de fraises, or a strawberry mousse entremet layered with sablé, sorbet, and strawberry leather—both beautifully sweet endings to an incredible meal!
Running parallel to the menu is the All Strings Attached installation, located in the restaurant’s dining room. Suspended cloth and hand-woven threads hang at irregular lengths, hovering close to tables without ever fully connecting. The installation, however, does not explain the meal, leaving your thoughts and ideas to perception!

Shiro
This Valentine’s Day, Shiro brings cinema and cuisine (two of our favourite C-words, right?) together with their limited-edition three-course set menu inspired by Wong Kar-wai’s cult classic ‘In the Mood for Love’ from the year 2000. Served on Shiro’s open-air rooftop, with its zen interiors and high ceilings, the experience is the best of Bengaluru’s nightlife, pairing sweeping city views with a menu that’s more than delicious!

The meal opens with shareable starters, such as the Miso Caramel Macadamia Maki, which combines sweetness and umami. At the same time, pillowy gua bao filled with sweet corn and peppers offers a contrasting flavour. For those looking for something unique, their spicy tuna avocado cones and Vietnamese jumbo prawns with fresh herbs are all about heat and freshness.
The mains include highlights like Velvet Boursin Udon paired with silky noodles in creamy cheese, available with either prawns or tofu. The Chilli Miso Ember Grill, offered with lamb chops or tenderloin, is all about fermented heat alongside hibachi rice, while Heart of Thai, with grilled salmon or tofu, served with smoky, citrus-forward tom yum fried rice, is also a great pick. The desserts include options like a raspberry chocolate mousse cake, balancing bitterness and tartness, and a sticky toffee pudding soaked in dark caramel.
