On 25th and 26th July 2025, Swan in Mehrauli, New Delhi, will host an exclusive two-night collaboration with TakaHisa, one of Dubai’s top Japanese fine dining restaurants. This marks the first time TakaHisa’s signature omakase experience will be available in India.
Led by renowned Sushi Master Chef Takashi Namekata, TakaHisa is known for its meticulous technique, minimalist aesthetic, and premium ingredients flown in directly from Japan. The globally recognised Japanese restaurant, celebrated for its omakase, is recognised by Michelin Guide 2024 and ranked #41 on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025.
The pop-up will present a multi-course tasting menu featuring bluefin tuna, Hokkaido uni, A5 Kobe Wagyu, and more, plated with precision and paired with curated drinks.
What To Expect
Guests can look forward to an intimate, reservation-only omakase experience that blends TakaHisa’s refined Japanese craftsmanship with Swan’s bold Nikkei-style cooking, under the direction of Chef Krishna Sharma. The tasting menu will feature a progression of hot and cold courses, combining both traditional and modern techniques. Each dish will be introduced with live storytelling, giving diners insight into its cultural and culinary background. Expect specialities such as toro sashimi, delicately seared Wagyu, uni-topped nigiri, and house innovations unique to this pop-up.
A thoughtfully designed beverage pairing will accompany the menu, reflecting Swan’s flair for balance and creativity—think rare sakes, Japanese-inspired cocktails, and wines that elevate umami-rich bites. The experience is designed to be immersive and highly personalised, with limited seats to maintain focus on detail, timing, and guest interaction.
