As we slip into June, Delhi NCR comes alive with a vibrant tapestry of Pride Month events that celebrate love, identity, and inclusivity. June is annually celebrated as Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall Riots that happened in New York City’s Greenwich Village on June 28, 1969.
From spirited drag performances to thought-provoking discussions, the capital’s eateries, restaurants, and hotels offer a wide range of opportunities to engage with and support the LGBTQ+ community. Whether you’re looking to dance the night away, shop from queer-led brands, or participate in relaxing art workshops, Delhi NCR has something for everyone this Pride Month.
Sidecar, GK 2 M-Block Market
Carrying their annual tradition forward, Yangdup Lama’s Sidecar has introduced a new Pride Month menu featuring cocktails with interesting and representative names, like the gin-based Out and Proud, mixed with red berry pink peppercorn cordial and milk clarified.
Born this way (Johnie Walker blonde, matcha-honey syrup, lime juice, and foam), slay (dry gin, spiced mango cordial), and good vibes only (vodka, jamun cumin shrub, and foam) are some of the other drinks that one must try from their exclusive month-long menu.
It is also hosting a “Sidecar Means Business” pop-up that will allow queer-owned brands to exhibit. The event will be organised in collaboration with Delhi Queer Spaces on June 22.

Depot 48, GK 2 M-Block Market
Long reputed as a space that has extended much support to the LGBTQ+ community, Depot 48 is doing its bit this Pride Month. Along with hosting regular Pink Thursdays and organising a Pride Fair at the beginning of the month, they have a queue of events planned throughout June. From a Drag extravaganza on June 12 and a Sunday tea-time dance ft. DJ Kabir on June 22, to a final pride closing party on June 29, Depot 48 has the month planned for Delhiites.

If there is one place, among many others, that Delhi has received the loyalty of Delhiites over the years, it has to be Social. Putting all their stores in Delhi NCR to use, this pride month, the restaurant chain is organising events throughout the month across all its outposts.
From housie and trivia rounds and sip-and-paint sessions to karaoke evenings and fluid art and doodle workshops, Social will keep you hooked throughout the month. In addition to Delhi NCR, they are also organising events in Mumbai,Indore, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Dehradun.

Kitty Su at LaLiT, New Delhi
LaLiT New Delhi, which has always held the fort to make Pride Month memorable for the city, kicked off June with its iconic #PureLove Parade and Flag Hoisting ceremonies across all its properties. Guests will enjoy Drag Bingo, Queer Quizzes, Thursday parties, storytelling sessions, and special menus in all their restaurants. Apart from that, there will be a diplomatic Drag queen story hour at OKO and an end-of-month party at Kitty Su (along with parties across the month). At the hotel, one could experience lobby installations, walls of love, and a Trans Employment Mela in collaboration with the TWEET Foundation.
