There is much more to Lajpat Nagar than shopping. While roaming your way through the market, you cannot miss the delectable bite of chole bhature from Baba Nagpal Chole Bhature. The place serves a flavour-packed and pocket-friendly menu that a real Delhite just can’t get enough of. While Dua swears by the chhole bhature served here, you can also choose to try other dishes like samosa, kachori, and dal samosa, all best paired with cold lassi.

This is an age-old favourite street food joint for foodies situated in Kamla Nagar and famous for its delicious savouries. On weekends, you would be lucky if you could find space to even stand. But the hot puris served with chholey and sooji ka halwa with spicy onion rings is worth the challenge. While the menu features a great list of delectable options, like bread pakoras, lassi, jalebi, chole chawal, and rajma chawal, Dua recommends skipping all that for the puri chhole. He says, “This is an iconic place for puri chhole if you don’t like chhole bhature.”
