Mid-Year Checklist: Check Out These New Spots In Delhi NCR

It's never a dull moment in Delhi and more if you are a food lover. These new openings must be on your mid-year checklist

If your dine outs are not sorted, Delhi has you covered

No day is the same in Delhi. And more so if you talk about food. One day the city is obsessing over benne dosa and the other day, it can’t help but line up outside a shop for gelatos. Delhiites are strangely obsessed with their food and the city responds to that love in more ways than one. Every other month, new spots arrive in the capital ready to make a mark on city dwellers. As we have reached the mid of 2026, here’s a list of new openings in Delhi NCR that you must visit before new ones open doors in the city.

From a quick-service pan-Asian spot in the heart of Khan Market to the Indian debut of an iconic Italian-American restaurant, Delhi is currently experimenting with concepts and not just cuisine. And if you are a food-lover (aka Delhiite), plan your visit soon.

NŌDO

When new restaurants opened up in Delhi a few years ago, the question would be about how the cuisine and offerings at the restaurant are unique, but today the question has evolved to how the concept allows the new eatery to stand apart.

If you thought Pan-Asian belonged to a fine-dine setting, think again as NŌDO, a new opening in Delhi’s Khan Market, is here to spin it around with a space that focuses on quick service and casual dining.

The roster at NŌDO is neatly divided into three sections— ramen, sushi, and dimsum. You can pick your choice of broth, greens, and noodles, and curate a ramen bowl that perfectly fits your likings.

The sushi roster features classics like avocado and cream cheese, asparagus tempura, and katsu chicken while the charcoal chicken and butter garlic dimsum from the selection are worth trying.

The beverage offerings are limited to mocktails and quick-serve options that would go well with your Pan-Asian fare. While most will advise you to grab a bite while you shop around in Khan Market, I would advise you to visit so you can experience the non-intimidating side of Pan-Asian dining. At least that is why I would visit NŌDO.

Olive Garden

If you are in India and owe your obsession with breadsticks to Olive Garden, be happy! The Italian-American food chain has debuted in the country with an opening in Delhi. You are right to expect the complimentary and unlimited supply of the breadsticks with your entrees, soups, and salad

Apart from that, expect Olive Garden classics like Chicken Alfredo, Lasagna Classico, and Chicken Parmigiana, along with salads and other vegetarian options. Tour of Italy is another Olive Garden classic that places Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna Classico, and Fettuccine Alfredo on a single plate.

While most of the menu stands true to Olive Garden’s philosophy, some changes have been made to suit the Indian diner’s palate too.

Haute Patisserie

At The Imperial New Delhi, Haute Patisserie emerges as a sophisticated celebration of the grandeur of Parisian patisseries and the ceremonial finesse of Viennese café culture. Its philosophy lies in craftsmanship, seasonality, and attention to detail.

Signature offerings include the Imperial Fruit Cake, the rich and glossy Sacher with orange jam and bitter chocolate glaze, and the beautifully balanced Black Forest that showcases dark cherry, cream Chantilly, and delicate chocolate flakes. Fitting the season, the mango and coconut cake could be just the perfect seasonal pick and if you find yourself on a diet that does not allow you to eat gluten, the Gluten-Free Orange and Chocolate is the perfect pick.

Mido Social House

Located in the Kailash Colony market, Mido Social House is the kind of restaurant you’d like to visit when you don’t mind lingering long over a drink and spending a late night out. Dimmed lights and a fountain that lies at the heart of the space, this new opening is well suited for a date night (barring their questionable music taste and loud decibels).

Mido’s menu shines with bold Levantine flavours and comforting European plates. Must-try dishes include the indulgent Levantine Chipper Dipper, crispy Calabrian Fried Chicken, flavour-packed Lamb Adana, creamy Vodka Rigatoni, and the Truffle Chicken & Shrooms flatbread. End your meal with the rich and velvety Basque Cheesecake for the perfect finish.

The moon-inspired drinks menu at the restaurant blends playful cocktails with refreshing coolers. Must-try picks include the jamun sorbet-based Waxing Crescent, the clarified Pizza Margarita-inspired First Quarter, and the dessert-like Waning Gibbous. For lighter options, the crisp Full Moon and fruity, refreshing mocktails make perfect companions to the restaurant’s food roster.
