Perched right in front of the Minar, this chic, multi-level restaurant and rooftop bar pairs the most romantic view in all of the capital with a luxurious ambience, strong cocktails, and delicious food—perfect for Valentine’s Day plans involving sunset drinks and a dinner under the stars. The best part? The open-air terrace and warm interiors create just enough romance without veering into cliché!

The handcrafted cocktails and signature drinks here are one of my favourite things about this place. From visually striking options like the Orange & Passionfruit Margarita and Melony (a gin-based watermelon-forward beverage) to bold pour-overs like the Popcorn Sour or a classic Espresso Martini, there’s a mix for every mood and drinker. 

And with your drinks? Some of these standout bites from Dramz’s global and fusion menu pair perfectly. Must-tries often include grilled prawns and Chicken Teriyaki Sushi Roll, juicy BBQ mutton seekh, or burrata pizza and alfredo pasta if you’re craving Italian favourites with a twist. The Seven-Spiced Chicken Wings and Parmesan Arancini are great for snacking on between sips, and classic desserts like tiramisu or chocolate sundaes round off the evening with a sweet note.

Diggin in Pandara Road is one of Delhi’s most charming picks, if you’re looking for a space that’s garden party-meets candlelight dinner at best. With indoor as well as outdoor seating (and this one is definitely the better one), Diggin offers breezy garden seating, fairy lights strung overhead, wooden furniture, and an ambience that feels like a private outdoor soiree, absolutely perfect for couples who want their date night to feel intimate and relaxed.

On the food front, Diggin’s menu leans into comforting, classic dishes that work well for sharing on an occasion such as Valentine’s Day. For starters, the Zingy Lemon Herb Flatbread and Crispy Halloumi Bites are great for teasing the palate, while the Truffle Gnocchi and Mushroom & Basil Risotto offer something more indulgent. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Lamb Shank, and all the pizza options are hearty mains that pair seamlessly with a glass of red or white. As for desserts, without which the night must never come to an end, the Signature Waffles, Blueberry Cheesecake, and Chocolate Mousse make for a perfect end to the night.

For mains, some crowd-favourites include Roasted Lamb Rack with rosemary jus, Herb-crusted Sea Bass, and Truffle Risotto, which balance richness with finesse, making each plate feel special. Seasonal signatures often include a choice of pastas and perfectly cooked steaks that pair seamlessly with a bottle of red, white, or rosé. Desserts here also match the level of extreme execution! Tara at Roseate House, open only on Saturdays and Sundays for four hours each, is a perfect pick for February 14, which miraculously also falls on a Saturday! There couldn’t be a clearer sign from the great beyond. 

​For Valentine’s Day plans that feel effortless and yet exceptional, Tara at The Roseate House is among the city’s most sought-after picks. Set on the rooftop of a luxury hotel in Aerocity, Tara combines a sleek, contemporary aesthetic with panoramic skyline views.
