Coffee addicts have new pincodes to hit and these ones are worth the pricey drink and treat!
Have you come across one of those many reels that reaffirm your daily indulgence in a tiny treat and a pricier-than-normal drink? For Gen Z, that longer coffee run has become part of our everyday lives, driving motivation, productivity, and even joy! The only logical next step? A levelling up of Delhi NCR’s coffee scene—and you best believe it’s here. From quick caffeine fixes between meetings to something far more intentional, we’ve come a long way. And now, third spaces dedicated entirely to the art of making coffee more than just a beverage are sprawling all over the capital.
It’s no longer just about having a cup. Today, everyone is hopping onto where you’re having it, who you’re with, and exactly what you’re ordering. The city’s café scene has moved past predictable menus and Pinterest-perfect corners into something more dedicated to artisanal coffee. Spaces that feel like extensions of personality, culture, and, increasingly, community.
Over the past year, especially, there’s been a noticeable surge of cafés that are doing things differently. Think micro-roasteries taking the whole brewing and roasting process very seriously, menus that go beyond the usual latte and cappuccino, and spaces that blur the line between a coffee stop and a liminal third space. Borrowing from cities like London, New York City, and Vietnam, these cafes not only serve cups you wouldn’t imagine finding at a cafe near your house, but also serve an experience worth trying out.
What makes it even more interesting is how these cafés are shaping the way the city moves. From meetings to making solo days feel less solitary, weekend plans are increasingly built around a good brew and something sweet on the side. Yes, the bill might be higher than your average coffee run, but trust us, so is the experience—especially for those who cannot go a day without their caffeine fix.
So, if your idea of a good day is incomplete without deliciously brewed coffee and a little treat to fix you right up, these are the spots that deserve a place on your list!
Tucked into Gurugram’s ever-evolving café circuit, it’s safe to say that Gram Street Coffee is not like every other cafe saturating the area’s streets. While many cafes get the coffee right and some the aesthetic, almost none of them check all the boxes. That’s until Gram Street—Chef Vanshika Bhatia’s newest coffee hangout, doing everything from coffee and matcha to freshly-baked goods, gelato, and an Instagram-perfect space. A lavender tone anchors the space, while each beverage and food item on the menu arrives looking almost too good to dig into. On tasting, almost everything hits the spot.

The 10-seater glass-front space mimics today’s average example of a third space, something that our country is still trying to crack. With newer spaces like this one, one can assume we’re not far from the dream! On the menu front, Gram Street has gained quite a name for its iced coffees and gelatos. Some of the best things on the menu include the Gram Latte, a purple-coloured latte made with blueberries, matching the space almost too well; the Croissant Gelato Latte, which is a sweet and salty drink inspired by pastry flavors; the Dubai Cappuccino that features—you guessed it—a decadent pistachio-based coffee; and the Twisted Cold Coffee, which is blended with their in-house coffee gelato and topped with frozen coffee cubes.
As far as the gelato flavours are concerned, some great ones to order include the Smoked Chocolate & Pistachio, which comes highly recommended thanks to the mix of roasted cocoa and pistachio flavours; the Caramelised Croissant Gelato, which is a baked treat and gelato all in one; and the Mango Sage Sorbet, a rather refreshing way to go.
Gram Street feels like a café built for people who genuinely enjoy a coffee hangout, rather than just ordering in a cup. And in a city full of highly saturated, everyday coffee spots, this one’s doing something exceptionally different. Remember to visit sans your laptop or WFH set-up!

If there’s one place that fully commits to the idea that coffee is more than just a drink, it’s Pour Over Coffee Roasters. This isn’t your quick caffeine stop. Instead, it’s the kind of café where brewing methods take centre stage, beans are discussed like fine wine, and coffee is treated like an art, no less. The entire experience leans into speciality coffee culture, with a focus on manual brew methods like pour-over, Aeropress, and cold brew. So if you’re even slightly curious about coffee beyond a cappuccino, this is where to be.

On the menu, pour-over brews are the highlight (obviously), made using single-origin beans that rotate. Except, beyond your usual flavours that end at mild or strong, prepare to expect brews that are citrusy, chocolatey, or even floral. There are also solid espresso options, including your usual flat whites, cappuccinos, and iced lattes—for when you want something more familiar. Cold brews also get a lot of love here, especially during the warmer months. The main draw is how intentionally brewed and patiently roasted the beans are; you can almost taste it with each sip. Food-wise, the idea is clear: food complements the coffee, not the other way around.
Here, you’ll see people working, reading, or just sitting with their cups—it’s a space that fits every kind of hangout (built around coffee, of course), which is exactly why it works. So the next time you don’t feel like pulling out your laptop simply on your bed, go here.

If there’s one café that understands the everyday coffee habit that ranges from the quick stop before work, the mid-day reset, the “I just need my coffee kick”—it’s First Coffee. With multiple outlets across NCR, it leans into a fast, accessible, almost grab-and-go model, but without compromising on flavour and art.

On the menu, along with the usual cappuccinos and lattes, there’s a set of slightly out-of-the-ordinary brews that are perfect for when you’re in the mood to experiment. The OG Cold Coffee is one of their most popular orders. It’s smooth, chilled, and exactly what you want in the heat. Then there’s the Java Chocolate Chip, which leans more indulgent with espresso and chocolate, and the Raspberry Riot, my personal favourite, which is perfect for those who like their coffees with a fruity kick. Other favourites include the Jelly Jolt Affogato or Thug Life Tropicano. If you’re a purist, their Iced Americano and straight espresso-based drinks are no-nonsense and always hit the spot.
As far as food is concerned, First Coffee has a generous set of dependable midday bites, including delicious sandwiches, freshly baked goods, and quick brunch bites that pair easily with coffee. So, the next time your local Starbucks turns out slightly disappointing, remember to make a pitstop here!

Conceptualised as a space where coffee, patisserie, and comfort food intersect, the cafe leans heavily into craft and experimentation without losing warmth. Altogether Experimental was built around the idea of creating a “technique-driven, collaborative” food space—a playground for chefs, baristas, and bakers who want to do things differently.

Coffee is a big deal here. Drinks like the Iced Butterscotch Latte and White Chocolate Mocha are consistently talked about, while their regular espresso-based coffees keep things clean and precise.
On the food side, ATE (as the name suggests) really comes into its own. The Mexican Ratatouille Tartine, featuring grilled vegetables on sourdough, is one of those dishes that sound niche but end up being crowd favourites. Then there are more comfort-forward options like the BBQ Pulled Chicken Taco, Korean Fried Chicken Burger, and Chicken Popcorns. For brunch-style plates, they offer Cilbir Turkish Eggs, Chicken Katsu Bowl, and Tiramisu & Gianduja Pancakes.
What really sets ATE apart is the overall experience. The space is designed to feel like an escape from the city without being too removed from it. It’s minimalist but warm, experimental but approachable. You go in for coffee, and before you know it, you’re in for the long run!

If most cafés are built around coffee, Savorworks flips the script by putting chocolate and coffee on an equal footing, with the same level of craft. Founded by bean-to-bar chocolate makers, this is one of the few places in NCR where you can taste chocolate the way you would wine or coffee: origin-led, nuanced, and anything but a singular, unidirectional sweet.

They do the simple orders best, with a focus on well-brewed beans instead of experimenting too much. Everything from pour-overs, cold brews and iced lattes to cappuccinos and flat whites is a standout, often featuring single-origin beans with distinct flavours, keeping things simple and no-nonsense. The mocha, of course, steals the show for obvious reasons, featuring specialty chocolate that’s absolutely unbeatable. If you’re looking for more experiment orders, consider these: Tiramisu Latte, Mango Cloud/Tonic Coffee, S’mores Mocha, and the velvety Hot Chocolate.
On the food side, one of the most unique orders includes the tiramisu served in an edible chocolate cup, perfect for those with a massive sweet tooth. Their sourdough sandwiches and toast-based plates are frequently recommended, along with baked goods that are fresh and straight out of the oven.
What sets Savorworks apart is its approach to flavour. You come in expecting a coffee run and leave having tasted chocolate in a completely different way. And once that happens, it’s hard to go back to anything basic. Especially for mocha lovers—you’re about to have a gala of a time!
