O Pedro’s Pedro’s Pals series has become one of the city’s most exciting culinary collaborations, bringing the spirit of Goa to Mumbai through weekend-only kitchen takeovers. After hosting Picu’s Rahul Gomes Pereira and the neighbourhood favourite Grumps, the third edition is turning up the heat. On September 20 and 21, Hosa, Goa, will take over O Pedro’s kitchen, presenting a special pop-up menu that highlights the bold and diverse flavours of South India in a contemporary style.
What’s On The Menu?
Curated by Chef Harish Rao and his team, the menu at Hosa is a celebration of coastal traditions and regional favourites, reimagined with inventive techniques and modern plating. Diners can start with small plates such as Cracked Potatoes with cauliflower mousse and hibiscus dust, Podi Vattayappam jazzed up with roasted chilli and curry leaves, or the earthy Shimeji Mushroom Varuval paired with mushroom pâté and pickled green pepper. For those craving meat and seafood, there’s Kalaki Chicken Serva with poi bread and a Kalki omelette, Mutton Pepper Roast with coin parotta and garlic chips, and a refreshing Hosa Ceviche with tangy kokum rassa and rice pop salad. The fiery Kandhari Pork Ribs and Toddy Shop Scampi promise to be showstoppers.

Moving on to full plates, vegetarians will find comfort in the Aubergine Steak with peanut-sesame curry, the homely Alleppey Veg Curry with raw mango, or the quirky Sweet & Sour Pineapple Curry. For more indulgence, there’s Andhra Pulav, flaky Roti Canai with tawa chicken, or the signature Alleppey Fish Curry. The highlight for seafood lovers is the decadent Curry Leaf Butter Crab, a whole mud crab cooked to perfection.
No meal is complete without dessert, and Hosa keeps it playful with indulgent endings like Chocolate Chilli with warm ganache, the refreshing Jigarthanda with caramel ice cream, and the inventive Corn Off The Cob.

More Than Food
To match the food, Hosa is also bringing a tropical cocktail lineup. Sip on the Gun Fizz Powder, a gin-based mix with mango and fig soda, or the Naughty Paloma, where tequila meets fennel and grapefruit. Turn up the spice with the Crystal Picante, or go fruity and bittersweet with the rum-forward Jungle Babbler.
Adding to the festive mood, O Pedro will host a live performance by The Vindaloos, a popular Goan band, during the Sunday brunch on September 21. With food, cocktails, and music coming together, it promises to be a weekend of fun, flavour, and the unmistakable energy of Goa.
