One of Delhi’s most celebrated fine-dining destinations is back. The Leela Palace New Delhi has reopened Le Cirque, its iconic Franco-Italian restaurant, with a refreshed design, a reimagined menu, and new dining experiences that bring together elegance, artistry, and innovation. The reopening was marked by a special four-hands dinner featuring Chef Diego, the former head chef, and Chef Vashisht, the restaurant’s current culinary lead. This symbolic collaboration merged timeless classics with contemporary creativity, highlighting the restaurant’s commitment to honouring its past while embracing the future.
What’s New On the Menu?
Le Cirque has always been known for its classic signatures, and the updated menu continues that legacy while adding modern touches. Diners can now savour favourites like Yellowfin Tuna Crudo, Lobster Ravioli “Le Cirque,” Wild Mushroom & Black Truffle Tart, the 40-Layer NZ Lamb Lasagna, Salt-Baked Mediterranean Sea Bass, and the Mille-Feuille à la Vanille. Seasonal ingredients, refined techniques, and thoughtful vegetarian and vegan options make the menu inclusive yet indulgent.

For the first time, Le Cirque is open for lunch, offering guests a chance to enjoy its full à la carte menu during the day. Dinner service takes things further with five- and seven-course degustation menus, allowing diners to experience the kitchen’s artistry in a curated, theatrical style.
Wine lovers will find plenty to explore with the restaurant’s revamped wine program. Striking temperature-controlled wine cellars, intimate tasting tables, and guided sessions led by the in-house sommelier bring a more immersive experience. From rare vintages to celebrated international labels, the selection is designed to pair seamlessly with Le Cirque’s Franco-Italian plates.
The Ambience
The interiors have been redesigned to create a space that balances quiet drama with warmth and intimacy. Expect plum-and-gold glass tile walls, sculptural lighting, rich wood panelling, and plush textures. The journey unfolds across an elegant entrance, a grand dining hall, exclusive private spaces, and intimate wine-tasting tables. With just 40 covers, the restaurant offers exclusivity and comfort in equal measure.
