In a food scene like Delhi’s, where new eateries and restaurants crop up every other day, it can often be intimidating to choose a spot for your next outing. Addoni’s, located in South Delhi’s Green Park, is here to your rescue.
From Japanese small bites and kebabs that pay tribute to Delhi’s street food to authentic Neapolitan pizzas, the restaurant serves it all. At Addoni’s, you can either choose an intimate indoor dinner or a cozy outdoor nook amidst cascading greens and gentle water features.
The Star Dish
While the norm is to choose a single dish, I would like to break it and pick two. Everyone has a favourite course, mine is dessert. If I revisit Addoni’s, it will be for their San Sebastian cheesecake and hazelnut and dark chocolate torte.
As someone who orders a cheesecake wherever I dine, I have to say that the airy, soft, and cloud-like brûlée Basque cheesecake at Addoni’s is irrefutably one of the best that Delhi has to offer. While the cheesecake is great on its own, topping it with macerated berries and pouring the Gianduja sauce only makes the overall experience better.
You also can’t go wrong with their classic hazelnut and dark chocolate torte. Stuffed with hazelnut praline and layered with hazelnuts, this dessert offers a powerful combo of chocolate and nuts. Pair your bite with the hazelnut gelato on the side, which takes the flavours a notch up.
What’s More?
There are days when you can’t pick your cuisine. My visit to Addoni’s was on one of such days. The eclectic menu went well with my indecisiveness.
To start off, I played it safe with a platter of asparagus tempura and avo-cream cheese sushi. The former was sweeter for my liking, while the latter with tempura flakes, cream cheese, and jalapeno was just perfect.
The chicken and leek skewers, which arrive in a batch of 6, are quite a hit among non-vegetarians. The spicy and tangy yuzu-marinated chicken with chargrilled leek is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Italian was the mood for mains. The server recommended their gardenia pizza. Loaded with buffalo mozzarella and marinated feta, the cheese was balanced by a large assortment of vegetables- bell peppers, olives, confit cherry tomatoes, and basil. The extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) brought the hearty slices together. The pizza was nothing outstanding, but a decent choice.
The pomodoro was just the right amount of saucy, and I enjoyed it. The San Marzano tomato sauce-draped rigatoni was topped with loads of parmesan and olive oil.
The server also recommended their rosemary-garlic-marinated New Zealand Lamb Chops. The red wine jus used in the preparation was what brought the dish together. Addoni’s also serves an all-day brunch till 7 pm. Try their sandwiches, omelettes, or pancakes for a hearty meal.
Drinks Menu
The Long Bar at Addoni’s serves a roster of well-crafted cocktails. Divided into three sections, the menu offers drinks that will suit your mood. I went in for the glow from the humble and light section. With its lychee gin and bergamot twist, the cocktail brings summer to you in a glass.
By the end of the meal, I was feeling more adventurous, so the second drink I chose was from the fun and energetic section. Called Miso Melody, the whisky-based cocktail, topped with hot yuzu foam, was buttery and creamy on the palate.

Our server insisted we order something from their bar nibbles menu too. I tried Monaco with its parmesan shortbread and whipped mascarpone. You can go for their sushis, dimsums, or yakitoris. Their cheese board with five varieties of cheese is a favorite of most diners- but after the cheese-loaded pizza, I refrained from eating any more of it.
Vibe Check
The indoor and outdoor seating at Addoni’s allows diners to choose their spot depending on their mood. Whether you want to occupy a quiet corner, surrounded by greenery, a lively perch at the bar, or a table indoors where Italian interiors blend with loud jazz tunes, the restaurant offers it all. I have to mention that their playlist is bomb!
At Addoni’s, you can feel intimate when you want to and grand when you need it to be. The 250+ seater space is as good for power lunches as for a date night with a loved one.
