Asia’s first premium 100 per cent aged agave spirit shines on the global stage, taking home four medals, including Spirit of the Year—India 2025.
Maya Pistola Agavepura, Asia’s first premium 100 per cent aged agave spirit, has continued to make a mark on the global stage by winning four awards at the USA Spirits Ratings 2025. Its Reposado expression was named Spirit of the Year—India 2025, securing a gold medal with 95 points, while the Añejo also received gold with 92 points. The Joven variant earned a silver medal with 89 points, underlining the brand’s growing reputation as a premium craft spirit that can compete with the world’s best.
The USA Spirits Ratings, organised annually by Beverage Trade Network in San Francisco, evaluates spirits across three criteria: Quality, Value, and Packaging. Now in its seventh edition, the awards are judged by industry professionals, including regional, national, and independent retail buyers. Medals—Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Double Gold—are awarded to spirits that excel in craftsmanship and consumer appeal, making recognition here a significant mark of international quality.
Since its launch in 2022, Maya Pistola has consistently received international acclaim for its distinct Indian approach to agave spirits. The portfolio currently includes five expressions—Joven, Reposado, Rosa, Añejo, and Extra Añejo — each matured for different periods, capturing unique nuances of agave and showcasing India’s terroir. The brand combines traditional techniques with careful innovation to create spirits that are both complex and approachable.
Over the past year, Maya Pistola has expanded its reach across Rajasthan and Haryana, while also gaining a foothold internationally in Singapore, Thailand, Europe, the USA, and the UK.
