From Japanese-inspired sandos to French toasts that feel like a summer blast, these are the best mango desserts in Delhi, this season
Delhi’s summers are anything but forgiving. With record-high temperatures that make us want to take ice baths and stay indoors until September, there’s perhaps just one saving grace: mangoes. Everything feels a little more bearable because the city is awash with the smell of ripe aam, stacked high on carts, blended into drinks, and, transformed into desserts that feel like a reward for surviving the soaring degrees.
However, be not mistaken! This isn’t just about your classic aamras anymore. Across the capital, mango is getting a serious up-do—tucked into pillowy Japanese sandos, layered over indulgent French toasts, folded into cheesecakes, soft serves, and everything in between. It’s here in Delhi where your childhood favourites are getting redone with a whole lot of creativity.
If there was ever a time to chase dessert across the city, this is it. Because in Delhi, summer might be relentless, but mangoes make it worth showing up for.
Magnolia, one of our favourite dessert destinations that has made its way to India all the way from New York City, welcomes summer with open arms with their delish mango-special menu. Back on the menu across outposts in India, the brand’s much-loved specials return with their signature promise: classic desserts, reworked with your favourite fruit, and the right amount of sugar (we promise!).

The lineup features everything people already love about Magnolia, but with a summery twist. The Mango Jamboree is first, featuring a crust of pecan shortbread layered with whipped cream, cream cheese, and fresh mango compote. Then there’s the Mango Pudding Parfait, a lighter, more playful dessert for those who enjoy mixing flavours. This one stacks mango compote with coconut cake, whipped cream, and fresh fruit for that perfect textured, hot-weather bite.
And for those who like to keep it classic, the Mango Vanilla Cheesecake delivers exactly what it promises: a smooth vanilla bean base topped with a bright, in-house mango compote.
At Magnolia, this menu is all about comfort desserts served with a kick of mango we all crave in summer.

Subko has never really done basic, and their seasonal mango menu stands as a testament to that. Known for treating both coffee and baked goods like art and craft, the brand is all about single-origin sourcing and experimental flavour pairings. Their newest mango offerings are no different.

Instead of predictable mango cheesecakes or ice creams, expect desserts that feel out-of-the-box, unexpected, and borderline addictive. Their “2026 Aam Drop” is a mixture of classics and this year’s experiments, and features everything you don’t expect it to. Starting with The French One, this is the signature Brokkaido (a Brioche-Hokkaido hybrid) stuffed with their in-house mango compote and a jam ripple. Finally, it’s topped with vanilla whipped cream, single-origin Maharashtra honey, and fresh Ratnagiri mangoes.
Next is the Coco ‘Aam’ann, where buttery layers of a Kouign Amann meet a tropical interior of coconut mousse and jam. It is topped with coconut streusel, fresh Ratnagiri mangoes, and a sharp hit of lime zest. There’s also the Aam Smoothie Bowl, which is a dense, vegan mango-and-banana base designed for the peak of May. The dessert is topped with pomegranate, mixed seeds, and the crunch of their housemade chocolate granola.
Alongside these, they also have a few summer-special brews up for grabs, featuring the king of all fruits. Available across all outlets, this is your sign to run, not walk, to the closest Subko!

Miami’s newest Mango Menu is a summer paradise and a mango lover’s dream, filtered through French technique and a very ingredient-first approach. Otherwise known for its entremets and precision-led baking, the brand uses peak Alphonso mangoes for the juiciest, fruitiest flavours, letting the fruit of the season shine.

The standout here is their Fresh Alphonso & Vanilla Entremet—a beautifully constructed dessert with almond sponge, citrus notes, mango jam, and vanilla mousse, finished with fresh mango on top. It’s rich and indulgent, but the sweetness is offset by texture and subtle acidity. Beyond that, the summer menu also plays with format and familiarity. You’ll find things like a Mango Coconut Swiss Roll that’s perfect for lovers of coconut texture and flavour, and a Japanese Mango Pound Cake that is as soft as a cloud, alongside variations of mango-vanilla entremets (including eggless options).
As one of Delhi’s finest patisseries, Miam does each dessert perfectly, and these ones are no different.

True to its French DNA, the patisserie doesn’t just add mango to desserts but builds delicate compositions around it, where the fruit plays both star and supporting act!

The summer menu is all about entremets, tarts, and pastries, often topped to the brim with fresh mango slices or folded into creams and compotes. One of the standouts from the past has been the elegant L’Été Indien, a complete, mango-forward dessert layered with mango-yoghurt biscuit, mango-vanilla mousse, and a fresh mango-mint compote. It’s light, bright, and very much designed for the Delhi heat. Like a chocolate mousse but with mango, if you will.
Then there’s also the Le Mangue-Framboise, which cuts through mango’s sweetness with raspberry and mint for a sharper, tangier after-taste, and there’s a broader range of seasonal creations where mango meets pistachio, coconut, or even passion fruit. This year’s special menu also features some delish Fremch dessert creations chock-full of mango-everything. So if you’re a connoisseur or lover of mangos, be sure to visit.

Tucked into the ever-buzzy lanes of Majnu Ka Tila, Wongdhen Cafe has been a go-to for comfort food with a global edge ever since it first opened. And this summer’s mango-special menu is no different.

Perfect for fruit enthusiasts, first there’s the Japanese mango sando—soft, pillowy bread stuffed with cream and fresh mango, hitting that perfect sweet-spot between aesthetic and delicious. Then you’ve got the mango sticky rice, a Thai classic that’s done quite well here, alongside more additions like the mango popping boba for those who love tea. There’s also an exotic mango cake layered with cream and fruit, and a cooling mango gelato that does exactly what Delhi summers demand and beg: refresh, instantly.
