As someone who has grown up in Jaipur, I can attest to the fact that the city's food space is growing than ever before. Amidst evolving times, these are the restaurants that the Pink City is currently loving.
Jaipur’s culinary scene has long reflected its royal heritage. However, in recent years, the city has also found a new rhythm, one that combines modern creativity with a deep-rooted sense of tradition. The result is a dining landscape that comes as a whiff of fresh air, feels as dynamic as it is soulful, and where every restaurant tells a story through its food, architecture, and philosophy.
From royal courtyards and restored havelis to artful cafés and contemporary kitchens, check out these restaurants that Jaipur is currently loving and enjoying to dine at.
If you ask anyone who has lived in Jaipur for long enough about a restaurant in the city, they would likely recommend that every tourist visit Baradari at the City Palace, which would feature on most people’s lists. While you can mesmerise over the palace from a distance as you dine at Baradari, Sarvato— the palace’s new restaurant-allows you to dine in the heart of it.
The menu at Johri is an ode to Rajasthan’s indigenous ingredients and age-old cooking techniques. It features dishes that were once prepared in royal kitchens, as well as those that nourished the region’s many communities. The kitchen is helmed by Chef Sonu Kumar Singh of The Johri and has been curated by Chef Vikram Arora.
The six-course tasting menu at Sarvato lasts anywhere between 90 and 120 minutes. Highlights include dishes like junglee maas featuring the Mathania red chillis, white bajra malai meat kofta, lachi fish with kumbhi mushrooms, and shatranj ki bissat (an all-Indian mezze platter featuring different kinds of butter with bejad bread). Standout cocktails from their menu include the Rang Mahal martini, the rum-based royal remedy, and mubarak-e-Sarvato.

If there is one restaurant in Jaipur that truly represents the city, it would be Mirove Artisanal Kitchen. Just like the city and its people, who keep their roots close while evolving with changing times, everything at Mirove—from its design and architecture to the food and drinks menu — stands as a harmonious blend between the traditional and the modern.
Mirove’s ambience features a 60-foot-wide curved concrete façade inspired by Jantar Mantar, but it is jharoka and thikri work-free. This makes the space as familiar as surprising. Your meals might be interrupted by ghoomar and Kalbeliya dancers who make your dining experience even more special.

The menu reimagines Rajasthani flavours through a global lens. Highlights from the menu at Mirove Artisanal Kitchen include their dry butter chicken vada pav, masala mutton ghee roast, paneer safaida, and their spicy asparagus sushi. From the mains, the Indonesian coconut curry and home-made ravioli are must-tries. Don’t miss out on the kesari tres leches and their matcha cake with Mirove House Blend sauce.
Choose from a wide roster of shakes, coffees, and non-alcoholic cocktails.

Each time I visit Jaipur, a new coffee shop emerges as the talk of the town. For the past few months, Kohhee has been the city’s meeting point, and that is when you know everyone’s loving it.
Pick your preferred brew (I would recommend their pistachio latte and Thai coconut coffee) and pair it with a snack from their menu. Their holy guacamole bagel, cheese chilli toast, pan-grilled cottage cheese and pesto burger, and chick pea mozzarella wrap are some of my favourite snacks from their menu, and you won’t regret trying them all. Diners also enjoy their peri peri cottage cheese pizza and mushroom risotto. Kohhee also offers gluten-free options and some great smoothie bowls that you must try.
From the desserts, I strongly recommend trying the blueberry cheesecake. Fair to say that the cheesecake lover in me considers it one of the best in the city now (and that is saying a lot!).

Nestled within the lush lawns of Santha Bagh on Jaipur’s JLN Marg, 1932 Trevi is a stunning blend of Italian charm and Indian heritage, created as a tribute to the Maharaja’s 1932 visit to Italy. With its open-air garden setting, candle-lit ambience, and a central fountain inspired by Rome’s Trevi Fountain (which is a tribute to Oceanus, the Roman god of water), the restaurant exudes an atmosphere of relaxed sophistication and old-world romance.

Trevi’s menu reimagines Italian classics through an Indian lens. Signature dishes, including the corn tempura cake with gondhoraj lemon gel, Trevi fried chicken with gribiche sauce, and the indulgent cacio e pepe, showcase its inventive flair. Meanwhile, local gems such as jackfruit korma tacos and Jodhpuri Kabuli rice pay homage to Rajasthan’s roots.
The vanilla and hibiscus wild rice kheer is a dessert that you shouldn’t miss.
Must-tries from the drinks menu include the Trevi Paloma, Plum Mathania, and Symphony No. 41, a refined blend of whisky, cherry vinegar, and mint.

Tucked within a beautifully restored 18th-century haveli in Jaipur‘s Chaura Rasta is Padmaa Jaipur that blends regal elegance with slow and soulful dining.
Staying true to its Jain heritage, Padmaa’s all-vegetarian menu celebrates traditional Rajasthani fare with global finesse, honouring flavour and local produce while reimagining it with a contemporary twist.
Highlights include the rich and comforting Rajasthani thali, featuring gatte ki sabzi and dal baati churma, the melt-in-the-mouth beetroot galouti, bharwa mushrooms with delicate spices, and decadent malai kulfi for dessert. The menu also features seasonal specials inspired by local farms and heirloom recipes.
Drinks at Padmaa mirror its culinary philosophy—fresh, refined, and rooted in local culture. Guests can enjoy inventive cocktails infused with herbs, citrus, and native flowers, or savour artisanal teas and mocktails that perfectly complement the cuisine.
