Tucked inside The Kitchens–Gurugram’s hottest food and beverage hub–Easy Tiger by Boraan is a bold, flavour-packed Thai kitchen born from a mother-daughter dream. Scotchie Kandhari and Meeta Ahuja first won hearts during the Covid lockdown with their hand-pounded curry pastes under the Boraan label.

Now, with Easy Tiger, they bring those soulful flavours into a vibrant, neon-lit setting that feels more Bangkok night market than fine dining. Think fiery small plates, playful cocktails and recipes rooted in tradition but spun with flair.

It’s Thai food with personality–authentic, expressive, and made with love.

The Star Dish

Easy Tiger’s menu doesn’t shy away from bold, meaty dishes–there’s plenty for the carnivores to cheer about. But the dish that truly surprises and lingers is vegetarian: the Chinatown Chives Cake. A take on the classic dim sum staple, this version leans into texture and contrast. The rice cakes are pan-seared till they are crisp-edged and golden, while the inside stays soft, almost bouncy. But it’s the clever layering that makes it sing.

A sticky soy-chilli reduction clings to each piece: it’s smoky and just sweet enough to balance the spice. A final flourish of peanut-garlic crisp adds an earthy, nutty crunch, making each bite  savoury, fiery and addictive. It’s not just a great vegetarian dish; it’s the kind of plate that makes you forget you ever missed the meat.

Bold, inventive, and packed with flavour, the Chinatown Chives Cake is Easy Tiger’s quiet rebellion, and maybe its loudest triumph.

What’s more?

The menu at Easy Tiger is extensive. It reads like a travelogue of flavours, tempting you to order more than you planned.

The Tom Kha soup with prawn set the tone: silky, just the right amount of heat, and packed with prawns that felt like more than just a garnish. Their Pomelo salad offers a clever detour from the expected–tossed in raspberry nam yum with a hint of mint and toasted coconut.

For those craving crunch, there’s no shortage of options: from the Bangkok Fried Chicken to Crackling Prawns. But if you are in the mood to push the envelope, the Flamin’ Red Curry Prawn Toast delivers just that: spicy, creamy and cut through with pickled celery for balance.

One dish you shouldn’t miss is the Thai Crab Omelette–a fluffy, golden parcel that’s become one of Easy Tiger’s signatures.

Whether you are leaning vegetarian or going all in with meat, the Robata section has something for everyone, as do the fluffy dumplings and pillowy baos. And if you want to skip the curry route altogether, the noodle bowls are a worthy main act–from the coconut-rich Khao Suey to the umami-packed Kauy Tew street noodle soup. Each bowl is slurpy comfort with serious street cred.

The dessert menu is small but thoughtful. The standout is the Pandan Tres Leches–light and fragrant with coconut crème, and topped with toasted almond flakes.

Drinks Menu

Easy Tiger’s cocktail list is anything but conventional. Their signature drinks take a confident, creative leap. Tattoo, for instance, blends Thai basil-infused tequila with a mango-cardamom reduction, citrus and liqueur for a drink that’s as punchy as it is perfumed.

Sax Soi 11 is a savoury pour: truffle oil-washed vodka stirred with soy concentrate and sesame bitters, walking the tightrope between umami and elegance. Then there’s Scotch’s Elixir, a bright, almost eccentric mix of gin, watermelon, strawberry yoghurt, celery, milk, and soda. It may be odd on paper but it’s surprisingly balanced and refreshing on the palate.

For teetotallers, the zero-proof selection is just as thoughtfully crafted. Tropic Tiger, with its blend of pineapple juice, guava saccharum, galangal lemon shrub and bird’s eye chilli, delivers layers of tropical sweetness with a subtle, spicy kick. If you seek something more familiar, the classic Thai iced tea or coffee makes for a comforting, flavour-packed choice.

Vibe Check

Easy Tiger wears its personality on its sleeve. It’s playful yet polished, with a bold, confident energy that mirrors its menu. The space hums with a laidback buzz, balancing the vibrancy of a Bangkok night market with the finesse of a well-designed urban bistro. Neon signs, rattan accents and cheeky design details come together to create a setting that’s both Instagrammable and genuinely inviting. Whether you’re there for a long, indulgent dinner or just a quick cocktail and snack, it’s the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease.

Final Verdict

Easy Tiger isn’t just another modern Asian restaurant–it’s a confident, high-energy space that knows exactly what it’s doing. From inventive cocktails and standout small plates to thoughtful zero-proof options and a menu that surprises more often than it plays safe, it delivers both flavour and flair. Whether you're a purist or a thrill-seeker at the table, there's something here that will catch you off guard–but in the best possible way.
