Housed at the Taj Mahal Palace, Loya Mumbai has recently unveiled its signature program, Paanch Experience, which is a selection of five cocktails inspired by the five rivers that carve the land, five senses that awaken within,  five elements that bind us together, and the five guiding tenets that form the heart of the North— harmony, experimentation, authenticity, reverence, and the spirit.

Each cocktail is layered with heirloom botanicals and crafted and infused with technique, to give you a drink that you will not only find joy in sipping but also cherish.

Prepare this rose-cardamom vodka-based cocktail called Gulab. Some other elements of the drink include fresh pineapple juice, lemon, and citrus-rose mist.

Note:
  • Double the ingredients when cooking for more people to ensure everyone gets a fluffy stack.
  • Swap out eggs for mashed bananas, yogurt, or flaxseed mix if you're vegetarian or allergic to eggs.
  • Use buttermilk instead of regular milk for extra soft and airy pancakes.
  • Let the batter rest for 5-10 minutes before cooking to get fluffier pancakes.
  • Cook on medium-low heat to avoid burning while ensuring even cooking.
  • Add vanilla extract or cinnamon for an extra touch of flavor.
  • Top with fresh fruits, nuts, or honey for a delicious and healthy twist.
