Latoya Brings A Mexican Summer To Delhi With The Cantarito Festival

Latoya, Delhi’s Cantarito Festival, will bring a slice of Mexico to Delhi until July 15. Located at the Eldeco Centre in Malviya Nagar, the Latin American restaurant and bar will celebrate a summery celebration of tequila and bold Mexican street flavours through the Jalisco-inspired festival. 

Known for its bold preparations and after-hours charm, Latoya keeps it authentic with the Cantarito, a beloved tequila-based cocktail traditionally served in handcrafted clay cups, giving the festival its name. 

At the festival, guests can sip their way through a playful menu of Cantarito cocktails—from the classics with orange, grapefruit, and a spicy tajín rim, to inventive twists like berry punch, peachy keen, and spiced pineapple. Each cocktail is a flavour-packed ode to summer indulgence and will transport you to a cantina in Mexico.

Food At Latoya 

The menu at Latoya reflects Latin America’s rich culinary heritage and vibrant flavours.  Try their juicy and well-prepared lamb chops, trio of ceviche, taro root gnocchi pasta, sizzling alambre and pineapple, and avocado and burrata tostada. 

The Peruvian mushroom fried rice, miso-glazed panela, and Brazilian stew are worth trying from the mains section. Desserts at Latoya are to die for. Diners can’t stop raving about the passion fruit and basil pavlova and gianduja cheesecake. You can also choose a range of gelatos and sorbets to close your meal. 

Drinks At Latoya 

The drinks menu at Latoya allows you to experience Latin America with each sip of your drink. It celebrates the region’s rich culture, legacies of iconic figures, energy of its streets, and the beauty of its landscapes. 

Some must-tries from the roster include the smooth, citrusy, tequila-based papi chulo. Inca is refreshing, and so is the whisky-based El Dorado. 

However, if there is one drink that everyone enjoys, it is the fruity,  vodka-based sabor del sol. The buttery and creamy carajillo de la casa is another hit from their menu.
