Comorin lands in Mumbai with its winning mix of comfort food, cool cocktails, and classy vibes
Following the footsteps of its scrumptious Gurugram flagship—awarded “Best Restaurant Bar in India” at the 30 Best Bars India for four consecutive years—EHV International now brings Comorin to Mumbai. Inspired by the city’s vibrant rhythm, this new outpost blends a distinctly urban appeal with a universal charm, proving that good food knows no boundaries.
Comorin impresses with an aesthetic that blends luxury and elegance—a curved restaurant set within a rectangular space. Warm brown tones enhance its sense of grandeur, while the meandering layout, designed by London’s Russell Sage Studio, adds to its open and inviting charm. The space features varied seating arrangements that cater to both intimate date nights with a view and lively family gatherings. Rich brown walls and immersive décor heighten the opulence, and signature globe pendant lamps elevate the space into a chic, vibrant, and sophisticated dining destination.
Beyond its meticulously designed interiors, Comorin’s menu is a celebration of love, culinary artistry, and regional Indian diversity. It reimagines street food with rooted yet refined flair.
Brand Chef Dhiraj Dhaman has curated a menu of standout dishes such as raw mango dahi vada, mint motichoor, Himachali cha ghost, ginger candy ice cream, aam ki kadhi, til pudina ki chutney, achaar beetroot, and sweet corn khichdi—some of which are exclusive to the Mumbai location. The result is a perfect balance of comforting familiarity and inventive culinary craftsmanship.
Complementing the food is Comorin’s exceptional bar program, designed to spark conversation and elevate every sip. Guests are welcomed with heartwarming cocktails, crafted for both discovery and enjoyment. The drinks menu, developed by head of bars and mixologist extraordinaire Varun Sharma, showcases signature cocktails, house-made infusions, fermentations, and sodas—each offering a fresh and playful take on the familiar.
In addition, Comorin features a carefully curated list of 50 wines, all available by the glass. Kevin Rodrigues, Head of Wines at EHV International, has created a program that encourages personalised wine journeys—free from pressure, and focused on relaxed enjoyment.
