Bandarful, an artisanal cold-brew coffee liqueur by Himmaleh Spirits has won a gold medal and has been declared the World's Best Liqueur at the 2025 USA Spirits Ratings.
Bandarful, the artisanal cold-brew coffee liqueur by Uttarakhand-based Himmaleh Spirits, has been awarded a Gold Medal and declared the World’s Best Liqueur at the 2025 USA Spirits Ratings.
At the prestigious competition, judged in San Francisco, spirits are evaluated based on their quality, value, and packaging by leading US industry leaders and trade buyers.
The 2025 edition was one of the most competitive ones to date, with entries from around the world. A gold medal is reserved for spirits scoring between 90 and 95 points at the competition. With its triumph, Bandarful places Indian spirits on a global stage for their exceptional taste and commercial appeal in one of the world’s largest and most discerning spirit markets.
The spirit’s name and playful yet classic packaging take inspiration from the Himalayan langur (monkey) and celebrate adventure that lies at the heart of the brand’s story. Bandarful is crafted using single estate, 100% Arabica coffee beans, nurtured in mineral-rich soil in the plantations of Chikmagalur in Karnataka and pure Himalayan spring water. It is cold-brewed to create a smooth, velvety texture with nuanced coffee and cocoa notes.
This recognition comes alongside other notable wins for Himmaleh Spirits at the 2025 USA Spirits Ratings. Kumaon and I, the brand’s premium artisanal gin, won a Gold medal, along with Jin Jiji, its pioneering Indian gin that continued its winning streak with another Gold after the recent “Best Gin” and “Spirit of the Year” award at the London Spirits Competition 2025.
If you are looking to stock up your bar cabinets with spirits that are not only loved by people in India but also on the global stage, then Himmaleh Spirits offers some great options for you.
