A Seafood Lover? Relish A Refined Seafood Spread At RED, Noida

Indulge in a week-long Asian seafood festival at RED, Noida —where refined coastal flavours, premium seafood, and expertly-crafted dishes take centre stage.

The seafood fare at RED, Noida is worth every penny.

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when I talk about Bengali cuisine? For most, it would be rice and fish. And fairly so. Fish, for Bengalis, is not just an ingredient but an emotion. An old Bengali proverb, “Maache-bhaate Bangali” (literally translating to “a Bengali dies and lives with fish and rice”), stands as a testament to the community’s love for fish and rice. Being a Bengali from Kolkata, the one thing I miss the most about Cal is the city’s authentic fare.

Rarely have I found myself expecting the same freshness in Delhi NCR’s seafood. However, my recent visit to RED – Rare Eastern Dining at Radisson Blu MBD Hotel, Noida, pleasantly surprised me, as I discovered and rejoiced in coastal flavours far from the shores and the tempo of the sea. The pescatarian in me was delighted!

The hotel’s popular Chinese restaurant is hosting Coastal Indulgence, a week-long celebration of Asian seafood. The seafood festival started on December 12, 2025 and will continue till December 20, 2025. Means, you still have the time to get your hands on the seafood preparations at RED.

What To Expect From The Menu?

Nothing at the seafood festival felt forced. Sauces and techniques are customizable to your taste. Guests can choose from seafood dishes inspired by Cantonese, Hunan, and Sichuan styles, as well as their preferred cooking method—steamed, grilled, or wok-tossed—with signature sauces such as hoisin chili, oyster peppercorn, X.O. garlic, spicy chili basil, and toban chili.

The jumbo lobster stood out. Each bite was juicy, tender, and skillfully prepared, with a balanced sweetness and rich flavors that made the dish memorable.

The black cod also impressed with its melt-in-your-mouth texture. Its richness allowed the sauces to shine for an indulgent dish.

For adventurous diners, the small octopus is soft, lightly roasted, and flavorful. The Chilean sea bass, rich and addictive, is also highly recommended for its balanced taste.

Drinks are not part of the Coastal Indulgence menu, but the team at RED offered selections from the restaurant’s beverages. I chose a plum mojito, and my co-diner had a margarita.

A Vibe That Allows Food To Take Centre Stage

When the food is so good, you need a  no-frills spot like RED where food is allowed to shine and take over as the showstopper. The space with its warm lighting and soothing music puts you at ease while you relish the culinary masterpieces presented to you as part of the seafood festival. It brings to you the calm of the sea, along with seafood that is undeniably one of the best I have had in Delhi.

RED is more than a seafood destination; it is a celebration of refined Asian flavors and culinary mastery. Whether you’re planning an intimate candlelit dinner, seeking a solo escape, or craving an evening that lingers long after the last bite, this spot promises an experience that lingers long not just on your palate, but in your memory.

By the time we closed the meal, the seafood lover in me was satiated. Not only was I pleasantly surprised, but my experience at RED made me hopeful about Delhi’s seafood scene that I saw improving before me.
