Must-try restaurants in GK 2 M-Block Market, Delhi.

Delhi’s Greater Kailash II (GK-2) M-Block Market has transformed into one of South Delhi’s most exciting culinary pockets, brimming with new cafés, cocktail bars, and bistros that rightly capture the city’s evolving palate. Whether you’re looking for a slow morning coffee, a quick lunch between meetings, or an enjoyable night out with friends, M-Block has something for every mood.

From a coffee-cum-cocktail bar to a 24/7 coffee spot, the M Block Market is where the best of what Delhi offers comes together. However, choosing from among the many spots that line the streets of the market can be difficult. Here’s a roundup that enlists the best of GK 2 M-Block’s hotspots that you must try if you are planning to visit.

Refuge

The idea behind Refuge is to offer a space for all — whether you want to chat over coffee with a friend or plan a night out with your gang, Refuge is a space for all. It represents the spirit of Delhi that accepts and acts as a refuge for people from across the country.

Spread across two floors, Refuge seamlessly transitions from a coffee bar to a cocktail room.

A standout at the coffee-cum-cocktail bar is the cocktail menu called Journeys in a Glass where each cocktail narrates a story of cultural exchange through inventive concoctions like the Olive Trail (olive-oil-washed Scotch with fig and brined soda), EMBE-Ras (Mahua with mango and basil), Gullah Breeze (tequila, tepache, and prickly pear), and the signature Refugee’s Respite (gin, liquorice syrup, and kewra-lime).

The food menu mirrors this spirit of creativity and comfort, with dishes like Refuge 65, a reimagined Chicken 65 with cashew-kaffir lime podi,  Forager’s croquettas, truffle-fried mushroom bites with black garlic aioli, and avocado crossing, featuring guacamole with truffle-ponzu and chilli crunch.

Trouble Trouble

Chef Radhika Khandelwal and her partner Ravish Bhavnani have unveiled Trouble Trouble, a vibrant new addition to GK 2’s M Block Market that’s quickly taking over all conversations about the best dining spots in the city.

The inventive food and beverage roster include a few favourites from Fig & Maple—like their signature salad—alongside must-try dishes such as lemon and parmesan tagliatelle, beetroot-feta-herb risotto, tenderloin steak with black pepper and mash, and chicken ravioli with mustard and parmesan that are additions to Trouble Trouble’s menu.

The real star of the show, however, is the cocktail program, aptly named Intrusive Thoughts. Standout drinks include the Lao Gan Margarita, a tequila-based twist; the refreshing Soda Lemon Ginger Pop; and the Double Barrel, crafted with bourbon, Malbec Shiraz, cherry liqueur, and bitters.

For dessert lovers, the Affogato Say You’re Cute is an absolute must-try. It is a playful medley of a dessert and cocktail, blending vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, salted caramel gelato, popcorn, and a chocolate wafer.

If you leave the restaurant, becoming Chef Radhika Khandelwal’s fan, you should try her gourmet sandwich shop, Kona in GK2’s Chandan Market. Highlights from their roster include the kun tofu fighting sandwich, the stand bahn mi, and the fly me to the moon sandwich.

Paris Coffee House

Tucked away in the bustling M-Block Market of GK-2, South Delhi, The Paris Coffeehouse brings a slice of Parisian café culture to the heart of Delhi. A seat at the coffee house is a perfect escape from the city’s rush.

It is helmed by celebrated pastry chef Sahil Mehta and brings French precision and a familiar comfort with all its preparations. Highlights from their food menu include croissant pudding, the summer blossom salad, mushroom tartine, chimichurri, and chicken vol au vent. The wheat almond cake is a go-to order for most diners but their skillet is delicious too.

Coffee Island

Coffee Island, a popular European café brand that was founded over 26 years ago in Patras, Greece, opened its first-ever 24/7 outlet at the Greater Kailash 2 M-Block Market. Known for its in-house roasting, single-estate beans, and multiple brewing methods, the café combines European coffee culture with contemporary Indian sensibilities.

The all-day menu, curated by Chef Arjyo Banerjee, features dishes such as pepperoncini spaghetti aglio olio, Mediterranean quinoa bliss bowl, and roasted tomato basil bocconcini pide, alongside indulgent desserts like banoffee with nolen gur and custard-filled croissants.

Sustainability is at the heart of the brand, with a focus on ethical sourcing, fair-trade practices, and coffee waste upcycling. While the menu offers plenty to explore, must-tries include their prebiotic overnight brew, islander cold coffee, and java chip killer—each reflecting Coffee Island’s craftsmanship and innovation. You could also go for their bobastic coconut matcha, berry burst paradise milkshake, and cookie and cream proffees (protein+coffee).
