Christmas Menus Across India That You Need To Get Your Hands On

End of the year, AKA the best time of year is finally here, and we cannot wait to tell you about all that’s waiting for you in restaurants across Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

The delicious Christmas-special spread at CinCin, Mumbai.
It’s December! That wonderfully chaotic time of year when the festive season takes centre stage and every meal becomes a celebration. We all eat out more than usual, but isn’t that just a part of the month’s charm? For once, indulgence feels not only acceptable, but essential.
Work emails slow down, social calendars speed up, and a midday slice of cake feels like a seasonal requirement.
And because December isn’t a season for subtlety, the food scene across cities has gone into festive overdrive. Think roast-heavy tables, hot-from-the-oven pies, boozy hot chocolates, mulled drinks, themed brunches, twelve-course Christmas feasts, and menus so indulgent that they become the highlight of the season.
Restaurants are unveiling their best-kept recipes, hotels are presenting once-a-year traditions, bars are getting creative with holiday specials, and cafés are embracing the season. Chefs reveal secret family dishes, patisseries dust counters with icing sugar, and hotels plan extravagant menus.
Whether you’re looking to go classic with a big family lunch, sneak away for a cosy dessert date, or embrace the annual ritual of festive bingeing with your gang, December’s menus are ready to feed you.
So loosen that belt, warm up your appetite, and start planning your festive eating adventures today. As the year winds down and celebrations crank up, use this guide to pick the must-try menus across the country. Go out, try something new, and savour the season—because if there’s ever a time to eat beautifully, extravagantly, and unapologetically, it’s right now.

CinCin

CinCin’s bringing in the festive season with A Tavola!, their special winter menu that wraps the best of the Italian winter, all into one beautifully curated festive spread. Inspired by the cherished Italian ritual of gathering over long, abundant meals, this special spread is built around comfort, conversation and conviviality. The best part? Even the setting is playing along: CinCin is dressed in soft lights and all things Christmas!

The menu itself is crafted for communal joy, starting with antipasti meant to be placed right at the centre of the table.

Highlights from the spread include the salsiccia cotechino (a rich, slow-cooked pork sausage paired with potato purée, sour onions and aged balsamic), cavoletti di bruxelles (charred Brussels sprouts on smoky roasted red pepper sauce), zucca al forno (Lombardy-style roasted butternut pumpkin meets blue cheese, walnuts and smoked chilli oil), and a warming insalata patate (made with sweet potatoes, pecorino dressing and crispy Parma ham chips).

From there, the pizzas and pastas continue the celebration. Expect crowd-pleasing classics like the pizza frutti di mare, casarecce alla norma, cappelletti al ragu, and lasagne verdure, each meant to be shared the way Italians do during the holidays: freely, generously and with absolutely no rush.

And of course, the finale aka the most unmissable part of any meal, the desserts. Sfogliatelle, the iconic Neapolitan pastry, arrives crisp and warm, filled with pistachio pastry cream and dotted with winter berries, perfect for breaking apart and sharing.

Paired with CinCin’s thoughtful wine programme of Italian reds, whites and tried-and-true classics, A Tavola! is bringing together everything that makes winter feel special—even in Mumbai!

Snowflake, Tipsy Santa, and Mulled wine at Sixteen33.

The menu showcases four drinks, each capturing a different mood of December. Egg nogg (Eleven would love this one—if you know, you know) is an old-school classic, with its silky blend of milk, eggs, heavy cream and warming spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and star anise, anchored by a generous pour of dark rum.

Mulled wine, on the other hand, is a cosy, aromatic winter staple, brewed with red wine, citrus, cacao nibs, spices and a whisper of whiskey to give the familiar comfort an extra edge.

Tipsy Santa is the mischievous one in the lineup—a bright, zesty mix of cinnamon-infused whiskey, Cointreau, ginger candy syrup, citrus, rosemary and pomegranate that feels like the cocktail version of holiday cheer.

And lastly, there’s snowflake: a clarified blend of pineapple, absinthe and white rum, lifted with light beer notes and crowned with raspberry foam—crisp, silky, and almost too pretty to drink.

Sixteen33’s festive specials make it easy to slip into the season, one fruity, warm, and rich cocktail at a time—start sipping!

The best of winter goodness at your fav Mexican hotspot in Delhi.

The food is hearty and made for long, chatty tables. The roast macha mushroom and pumpkin chimichanga arrives golden and crisp with all the smoky heat you want in Delhi’s excruciating, winter-y December. The Habanero pumpkin quesadilla is another must-try and features velvety sweetness paired with just the right touch of fire. The festive tacos also keep things fun and cheeky—think chipotle turkey and ancho-glazed smoked ham, the kind of seasonal twists that make a casual dinner feel like a party.

Desserts are obviously my favourite part: Christmas churros dusted like fresh snow, a caramel flan that melts into silk, and a Mexican hot chocolate that feels like being wrapped in a blanket of cocoa and spice.

And because Miss Margarita never forgets the drinks, the Winter Cocktail Menu comes dressed for the occasion. There’s a sous-vide mulled wine that perfumes the room, a tequila-kissed rompope, a crisp, frothy snowfall, and a warm, fruity Winter Ponche.

The festive stars are the white Christmas margarita and smoked gingerbread, both playful, cosy, and a little too easy to order twice.

This December, Miss Margarita turns into a vibrant Mexican casa—warm lights, louder laughter, plenty of tequila—inviting everyone to eat, sip, and celebrate the season in the most fun way!

The spread opens with a winter apple, squash and feta salad, brightened with caramelised walnuts and the kind of crunch that hits home. From there, the dishes are heartier: the thyme-roasted cornfed chicken leans classic; the wild mushroom and the caramelised onion and feta strudel brings a flaky, savoury comfort to the meal.

Other highlights include the honey-glazed Holland ham that is a sweet, salty holiday nostalgia and the showstopper—a 16-hour braised lamb shank draped in a rich coffee jus that tastes like a celebration on its own.

The sides read like a staples list from every Christmas kitchen and household: orange and rosemary sweet potatoes, sesame brussels sprouts, whipped feta with roasted carrots, and a peppercorn jus to pull it all together.

And because no festive table is complete without a sweet landing, the classics return in full charm: a  warming sticky toffee pudding and a buttery caramel pecan tart. The bonus: there’s also a strawberry-special menu for all those berry dessert lovers out there.

It’s the best of December, so go and fill up ASAP!

Monkey Bar

December in Bengaluru always feels a little brighter, but Monkey Bar always manages to multiply the cheer. This year, the neighbourhood gastropub has introduced Jingle and Mingle, rolling out a Christmas-special menu that’s everything your booze-hungry selves have been looking for. The cocktails set the tone and record for the end of the year almost immediately.

Rummin Reindeer, Jingle Juice, and Coco Nog at Monkey Bar.

Some of the best on the menu? Rummin’ reindeer arrives spiced and warm with a cinnamon-sugar rim, while jingle juice pops with sparkling wine, cranberry, and orange—basically Christmas in bubbles. Ginger bells leans into festive spice with vodka and gingerbread syrup, and coco nog does the classic holiday riff with bourbon, coconut cream, and cashew syrup. They’re flirty, festive, and dangerously addictive.

For bigger cravings, the menu leans straight into festive nostalgia. MistleTofu keeps things bright with curry-spiced hash browns and grilled greens. The Holly Jolly Roast is all about classic roast chicken done right—simple, satisfying, no notes. Merry Anglo fish nods to old-school Anglo-Indian kitchens, and the cumberland comfort pie—mutton keema topped with soft mashed potato—is the kind of dish that makes you text someone, “Come join, I’m not leaving yet.”

And of course, Christmas isn’t Christmas without dessert, and Monkey Bar ends the night on a decadent high. The pumpkin cheesecake, spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg and served with dark rum ice cream, is smooth, boozy, and delicious. The X’mas plum pudding, soaked in brandy and paired with hazelnut ice cream, lands like a warm hug.

Lit up with fairy lights, buzzing with energy, and wrapped in its signature cheeky charm, Monkey Bar makes December feel like a month-long party. This is the spot for festive toasts, long nights, and the kind of memories that only happen when nobody looks at the clock!
